Course Details

What is a Trusted Assessor?
A: ‘Trusted Assessor’, when trained, will be able to assess for and prescribe a simple solution or a basic piece of equipment to meet the needs of an individual.

Disabled Living has worked hard to tailor our training to meet individual job roles – this could be, amongst others, Driver Fitters, OT Assistants, Retailers and Housing Associations.
The course consists of four modules. To become a ‘Trusted Assessor’ with Open Awards accreditation at Level 2 all four modules must be completed.

Target Group: This course is for anyone who is or will be assessing for low level equipment for Adults. All four modules must be completed for those assessing and prescribing solutions, Minor Adaptations or As-sistive Technology.
